2008 Long Distance Training (LDT) Rides
The 2008 Long Distance Training (LDT) series begins on Saturday, January 12th. The series is a set of 19 rides of progressively greater length and difficulty designed to help members train for longer-distance rides later in the year. The rides include some of the best scenery, most car-free roads, and interesting destinations in this area. Most of the rides are within an hour’s drive of Palo Alto. The drives to Pacific Grove, Geyserville, Paso Robles, and Cazadero are farther (2–4 hours) and many riders plan an overnight stay. On those weekends, you will normally find a Sunday ride included.
Please note that the dates for the Berkeley Hills and Petaluma rides have been exchanged.
