2010 Long Distance Training (LDT) Rides

The 2010 Long Distance Training (LDT) series begins on Saturday, January 9th. The series is a set of 19 rides of increasing length and difficulty designed to help riders train for longer distance rides later in the year. The rides include some of the best scenery, most car-free roads, and interesting destinations in this area. Most of the rides are within an hour’s drive of Palo Alto. The drives to Pacific Grove, Geyserville, Paso Robles, and Cazadero are further (2 to 4 hours) and many riders plan an overnight stay. On those weekends you will normally find a Sunday ride included.

See the January issue of the Flat Tyre for final dates, and see each subsequent issue for monthly ride descriptions. Route sheet links will be activated as they become available.
